Ushbu maqolada bolalar va o‘smirlarda qandli diabetning rivojlanish sabablari, turlari, davolash usullari va profilaktika choralariga oid ilmiy ma’lumotlar tahlil qilingan. 1-tip diabet autoimmun kasallik bo‘lib, insulin ishlab chiqaruvchi beta hujayralarning yo‘q qilinishi natijasida yuzaga keladi. 2-tip diabet esa noto‘g‘ri ovqatlanish, ortiqcha vazn va kam harakatlilik natijasida rivojlanadi. Tadqiqot davomida diabetning oldini olish bo‘yicha sog‘lom turmush tarzini shakllantirish, jismoniy faollikni oshirish va oziq-ovqat rejimini tartibga solish muhimligi ta’kidlangan. Bundan tashqari, diabet diagnostikasi va davolash strategiyalarining samaradorligi tahlil qilinib, kelajakdagi tadqiqot yo‘nalishlari haqida fikr bildirilgan.
