DIFFERENCES IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING MOTHER TONGUE AND ENGLISH

This article analyzes the correlation and similarities between learning English and Uzbek languages. Although the acquisition of a native language is a natural process, learning a foreign language, particularly English, requires various didactic and methodological approaches. In addition, the problems encountered in the process of learning the phonetics, grammar and vocabulary of the language, as well as methods for solving them, are discussed. The article also examines the role of cultural contex, the importance of motivation in language learning and methods for developing thinking and both languages.
